how to set up an Adhoc Network bwteen a XP Home PC to a Windows 2000 PC.

Daniel,

Do you mean a router less WiFi connection, or a router less Ethernet connection?
And do you intend to share Internet service too? Here's where using the correct
terminology could save you confusion and inconvenience. Start with my guide to
using a crossover Ethernet cable. WiFi will have a few additional details, but
it's vaguely similar.

Sorry about the vagueness, I should have thought it through better,
but the link to the crossover connection is the one.
I do not want ICS.
