Yes... But I never managed to let 98 in. NT gets in with no trouble.

Hi!
Is it possible to see a shared folder on XP from Windows 95?

Normand

Yes. All versions of Windows can shared folders with each other.
Make sure that XP's Internet Connection Firewall (which blocks file
and printer sharing), is disabled on the local area network
connection, as shown here:

Yes, it works fine with all members of the W9x family, and even
(I think) Win3.11.

You need a compatible protocol set on all PCs to make F&P sharing
work, and there are lots of ways to go wrong, but you can certainly
share files between all WinWhatever PCs since W3.1.

Thanks everybody.
My problem is that from XP I see shared folders of W95 but not the other
way, W95 can't see XP's shared folders, even if I can ping the the XP IP
address from W95.
The reason for my initial post is that do I waste my time to resolve this or
not.
Your answers tell me that I can spend more time to resolve my problem.
Thanks again.

BTW, I will search more of course but if someone has a clue, it will be
appreciate to know.
