Hi everybody,

I have included the "Client services for Netware"-component in my XPe-image.
After I installed the Client Services for Netware in the properties of the
network-adapter, I get an error in the eventlog: "The Microsoft Client
Service for NetWare redirector(NWRDR) could not be started"

Does anybody have a solution for this problem?

Thanks,

Cons,

If you experience difficulties installing and configuring Client Services
for NetWare on Windows XP Embedded images, you may need to copy.inf files
before booting your run-time image or running FBA. Microsoft recommends
copying to DIRID %17%. By default, DIRID %17% is the Windows\inf directory.
The following list shows the .inf files you can copy:
a.. Netnwcli.inf
b.. Netnwlnk.inf
c.. Netnovel.inf
d.. Netmgr.inf
e.. Netnm.inf
These .inf files are present in the Windows XP Embedded client main (X86)
repositories.

KM,

thanks for your quick reply. If you mean Netngr.inf instead of Netmgr.inf,
all files are already included.

I also noticed that after I a reinstall of the "Client Service for Netware",
the service seems to run, but the behavior is not the same as the behavior
of an XPPro. If I try to connect to my novel server with a valid user, i get
the message: "You cannot be authenticated on the server due to the following
reason: The specified user does not exist."
