Recently, I have noticed my computer hanging more frequently. Could there be
a possibility that some trojan is residing in my PC? I have NAV updated with
the latest definitions. I don't get anything on a full system scan. However,
using the netstat command I see the following:

Proto Local Address Foreign address
State

TCP HomePC:3031
TCP HomePC:3175
TCP HomePC:3215
TCP HomePC:netbios-ssn
TCP HomePC:3217
TCP HomePC:7591
TCP HomePC:9692
TCP HomePC:10572
TCP HomePC:14706
TCP HomePC:17083
TCP HomePC:17511
TCP HomePC:19219
TCP HomePC:21937
TCP HomePC:22913
TCP HomePC:29603
TCP HomePC:32168
TCP HomePC:
TCP HomePC:TCP HomePC:

Can you post the results of running netstat -a ?

That should display all connected and listening ports.
