netmeeting video problem

can anyone help - after installing SP2, ican sendvideo without a problem, but
if I try to receive video, the image is very slow or broken up and often
freezes. I did not have this problem prior to installing SP2.
I have tried to reinstall netmeeting but this does not help nor does
disabling all firewalls.

had you done Defrag a few times since installing SP2, and
ususally choppy broken images means either a bandwidth
issue or you many other resources taking up your computer,
example MSCONFIG you may have too many programs running in
the background
 
yes I have have done defrag - this did not help. The problem with programs
running in th ebackground is to know which ones are safe to switch off - any
suggestions?
