Hi group, and thank you for your answers

I´m working for a company with local offices in different cities. People here in Madrid is in a network connected to internet by a router, and so are the people in Barcelona, Valencia, and other places. The problem is that I can connect to people´s desktop here in Madrid as they are in my network; but I don´t know how to specified to Netmeeting that I want to connect to a computer located in a network at Valencia, which have an IP address, but is in other office

I can know the IP for the router in Valencia, and I know the IP for the router in Madrid

I don´t even know if this I want to do is possible

thank you for your time

Yes, it is do-able. However, having these essential routers/firewalls
in-between are really going to get in the way of NetMeeting and you'll
have to set them up allow the NetMeeting traffic through. I am not an
expert in doing this; but just am aware of the issues. Without the
firewall/routers in the way, it's a simple matter of calling the "ip"
address.

Micosoft has announced "end of product" (or something to that effect)
for Netmeeting. Microsoft used to publish technical guides to
NetMeeting. I hope they are stilla available for download. Get your
network gurus to read these doc's. Also see
http://www.meetingbywire.com/ for some information.

You may wish to consider using Microsoft LIve Meeting (or some other
equivalent service). See the Link to Live Meeting off
http://www.microsoft.com/office. My hunch is that while this is a
fee-paying service, it may well be the easiest way to securely do
collabortion like this between your offices in Barcelona and Madrid.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
