AFAIK, "nethood" isn't a standard Windows folder. If you want to remove
programs, go to the Add/Remove Programs applet in Control Panel. If you
are concerned that something has been installed on your computer
without your knowledge, do a scan with your current antivirus, turn on
your firewall, and make sure your computer is free of spyware. If you
need more help, please post back with details about your computer (name
of OEM if applicable, specs), names of game files, and what you've done
to troubleshoot.

I think the poster meant "My Network Places"... it used to be "Network
Neighborhood" in win95/98

This certainly sounds like a golf game. Did you ever play a golf game on
a website, like on MSN's Zone?

yes but only with links ls2003 these files refer to ls98
i used to play at a site "gamespy" but that was on a
different hard drive!if i delete these files will they go
to the recycle bin and if problems occur i could restore
whatcha think?

If you've checked that there is currently no golf game (or game that
looks like it would be associated with these files), then certainly you
could delete the folder and keep it in the Recycle Bin. Keep it there
for long enough to be sure nothing is negatively impacted. Bear in mind
that I can't see your pc from here, so use your common sense and good
judgment.
