Hi, I have an XP home edition. I have been using this for a while and i could
connect to a local network (e.g RUN -> \\192.168.1.120\c$). and i had mapped
some drive to a server. Now this is not possible anymore. I get error meesges
like the system cannot be connected because no network was found, also get no
network has accepted the network path(it was in french, so i translated, it
might not be what u r used to). When i go to ipconfig /all, i notice NETBIOS
is deactivated, i have done everything i think i should do, but still no luck.
Please somebody help.
Thanks
Cele

Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP in the ip configuation on all
workstations/servers.

Note: I don't recommend connecting to the root/hidden share - set up
specific shares for the stuff you want to access.
