I am having a problem using the savecred switch for the net use
command. Supposedly, the savecred switch can be used to map to a
resource using alternate credentials. From what I have read, when you
first connect to the resource, you will be prompted for the user name
and password to be used to connect to this resource. Afterwards, you
are not supposed to be prompted anymore. However, whenever I reboot
the computer and attempt to connect to the resource in question, the
user name is saved, but I am still prompted for the password. Is this
supposed to happen, am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?
Thanks for your help.

It depends on exactly what you typed in for the "net use" command.
