Net Send messages going to another domain

NET SEND user [message] goes to another domain user that has the same user id. does anyone know if Microsoft has a Q-article on this problem ?. This is my first posting.

I believe that's how the "NET SEND" was designed. It uses netbios names to
send messages.

If there are duplicate names, it'll send to whichever one it finds first.
(How is the order determined? I don't know.) You can also net send to the
computername or the IP address. If nothing else, the IP address will be
unique.
