does netmeeting work for winxp? i cant get it to work and
i cant find a xp download for it

Windows XP already contains the latest version of NetMeeting.
To access it, go to Start > Run and type: CONF , and hit
enter.

It works. Don't have to download. For whatever reason, it's not on the default
menus. Start/Run the program "conf.exe" and it will start up.

You mention "can't get it to work". So I guess you've tried it? If so, what
were the symptoms of the problem?

You don't need to download it. It comes with XP. At the Start |
Run line, enter conf.
 
basically i connect to the person and we can chat all
right, but at the top it says no in a call but we are but
no audio or video is transfered. i dont know why
 
some rhetorical questions to maybe help:

- do you have a confirmed working microphone and video camera?
- Does audio and video work for other applications?
- did you run the audio tuning wizard to test/setup audio (on options)?
- change the video quality settings?
