I keep getting a console message (net send message) from
one of my servers saying "Failed to authenticate with
<unknown>, a Windows NT or Windows 2000 Domain Controller
for domain xyz". We have a trust relationship between a
Windows 2000 and NT domain. I know what this message is
all about, what I want to know is where on the server is
this message configured to point to my account? I want to
stop this message and I can't find it in alerts so I can
turn it off. Anyone have any idea where I could turn this
message off?

Thanks!

The alert is configured in the registry here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Alerter\Parameters\Aler
tNames

There's no GUI for this in NT5.x
