.NET Framework on Windows 98

I made an application on ASP.NET. Now i want to deploy
that on windows 98 machine. On installing the .NET
Framework it gives me the error of "can not install on
windows 98". I guess that may be some dll's are missing.
Can anyone advise me that it is possible that i can deploy
the application on windows 98 and what will be the pre
requisites.
