Can someone tell me when .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 2 will be
available?

As far as I know MS didn't announce a SP2 for v1.1 yet, anyway I don't think
we have to expect something before Whidbey release.

Sure, but this is not an announcement, it only says it will be solved with
SP2, but it's not available and there is no date specified .
