If contacts are shared using net folders, and the owner and subscribers both have current Virus protection, is there still a chance that an internet/email worm can "grab the addresses" while they are in transit, so to speak? Or do they only harvest addresses from an unprotected computer?

They only harvest from an unprotected machine.
