.NET component of MS Word ?

hi,

Does there exist a .NET component of MS Word ?

The purpose is to create Word documents from within a .NET application.
Rather than using the MS Word COM-component type libraries, I would like
to use .NET components only

So, does it exist ?

Chris,

No there is not. Rather, you can download the primary interop
assemblies to access Word through COM interop.

I believe there is one for Office XP as well.
