Nero Wave Editor

I have over last few days been working with the above application to reduce
the playing time of many wave files from about 3 minutes each to 21 seconds.
During the process of doing this my hard disc space has just dsappeared from
about 20GB to now about 2GB. I size of the files I have produced is about
1.5GB and the original files are on another hard drive.

I understand that Nero Wave Editor does produce temp files during use, which
it is said are not always deleted. I have attempeted to find such files but
without luck.

I have just installed the latest version of Nero Wave Editor 2.0.0.34,
hoping this would correct problem. But no luck. I did not make a note of the
previous version installed, but it was exracted from downloaded file
nero63115.exe

A rather confusing problem that I don't at this moment seem able to sort
out.

Any help much appreciated.

I have version 1.0 - the temp file for the editor is set under Options >
Editor Options > Directories tab. As I use Audacity it is fair to
assume that the default is under Documents & Settings, e.g.
C:\DOCUME~1\UserName\LOCALS~1\Temp\ where UserName is your account.
