I think I posted this in the wrong newsgroup, so I'm reposting here.

I'm trying to create a "slipstreamed" copy of my Windows XP Pro. I
followed instructions on this page:
http://www.helpwithwindows.com/WindowsXP/winxp-sp2-bootcd.html

All went well until I tried to add the files to nero. I learned that it
is "Microsoft Corporation.img" that causes nero to crash. I don't know
what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I used that same procedure to create a Windows XP SP2 CD using Nero 7 and
didn't have any problems.

Here's an alternate procedure using nLite which makes an .iso file instead
of an .img file

And another using Autostreamer

Thanks all for the advice. Autostreamer seems to have done the trick.
Very automated, a no brainer. I am now one happy (and legally
registered) XP Pro user/abuser/etc.

Thanks again.

Your welcome. I have had good results with autostreamer as well.
