I am having trouble burning any data cd using the new Nero 6.6. Nero
completes the burn process, but when I review the files through Windows
Explorer the file is not complete and can not be read. For example I tried
copying a .doc named TestBurn.doc and when I check the file under Explorer it
just reads T. Both files are the same size.

Any suggestions!

A wild guess, but did you accidentally request the wrong format for the CD?
Nero is capable of writing in older formats, but usually you do not wnat to
do that. Joliet is the common format for write-once CD-R, which supports
long file names and several levels of subdirectories.

I was using Joliet. I uninstalled all the Nero components so that I could
reinstall the Nero version that I had prior to the upgrade, and I am still
getting the same problem. The files are not corrupt, because I tested the
Data burn using Roxio and Roxio did just fine.

Did you finalize the CD? Windows will not be able to read the disk if it
is not finalized, tho Nero will be able to. Common mistake.
