need voice modem

i have a dell dimension 3000 running Win XP HE what kind of voice modem is
compatable with this system? and also can it be downloaded?...thanx
 
I don't know which one is compatible. But I do know you will have to buy
hardware so no it cannot be downloaded.
 
just about any PCI voice modem would work ...but it's pretty hard to
download hardware :>

A modem is hardware. It can't be downloaded.
 
For the first question Call Dell. For the second one, you would need a
"matter modem" first. They haven't been invented yet, so UPS or FedEx
will have to deliver it.

Almost any one would be compatible. Check its specs to be sure.

??? Beam me up, Scotty? A modem is a piece of hardware. It's a physical
device, and can't be sent over an internet connection.
