Need Urgent Help!

How can I make my computer run much faster? It is very
slow, I have to free system memory, but how? I cannot
serve online as much faster as before. Have any solutions?

No magic bullets.

Performance increases can be had by:

buying a faster computer

buying more RAM
defragging the hard drive
removing unnecessary start up tasks and backgraund processes (careful)
searching the event logs for warnings and errors--and resolving these
issues

reformatting the hard disk and reinstalling windows. Just back up personal
data files. reinstnall programs.
 
That's about as urgent as commandeering a whole hospital for a paper cut
or a chipped fingernail.

I suggest you do some homework before posting messages such as this one ..
for one thing .. you neither seem to know what programs are running
concurrently or what other demands you are making on your equipment.... so
how could we know how much clock cycle rubbish is making your system
congested ... what quality and how much resouces your hardware contains ..
or even what you are doing with your pc .. if your running photoshop with 64
meg of ram on a pentium two 400 .. well of course your gunna get sluggish
performnce .. and for any "helpful" replies you need to be a bit more
educated on your pc property.

it would be good if you joined a pc user group and got some decent advise
face to face with ppl who know thier shit
