I have a list of links in a document, that I also want to show the whole web
address for without having to type them in. Any ideas.

If you want to see the underlying address of a link, right-click it and
select Toggle Field Codes.

You can copy and paste the URL as you would any other text.

You can toggle the view Field Codes for the entire document using commands
on the Tools > Options > View tab.

If you want to have a tooltip display the URL when you point to a link,
right-click the link, click Hyperlink > Edit Hyperlink. In the Edit Hyperlink
dialog box, copy the URL then click ScreenTip and paste the URL into the
ScreenTip Text box.
