need to schedule a task every few hours

looks like only once a day is the minimum.
I need to schedule a ping every few hours because I got one of them crappy
never buy linksys again
wireless G vpn routers.

Create a batch file with the word PING & an IP address & run it in Scheduled

What actually is your question?
 
I think he wants to use Task Scheduler and Ping every few hours, but
can't seem to put it all in one sentence.
