Need to Replace Winlogon.exe

Hi,

I have a winlogon.exe that is infected with a stubborn virus. It's a
system file that cannot be stopped in Normal or Safe Mode. The file
needs to be replaced with a clean version. I have the original XP Home
disk.

Can someone tell me how to do this? Thanks

You have two winlogon.exe files, one in the correct folder and the other
elsewhere.

Your a/v should remove it for you. Schedule a Boot Scan so the virus
can't take control.
