In with the CD-Rom and reboot the pc You may need to set the cmos boot order
to CD-Rom, A, Fixed disk

Are you certain this is what you want to do???

System restore wipes out everything on the hd and resets
it back to as shipped state, which would wipe out all data.
I would imagine the instructions are on the CD. if this is
indeed a restore CD, usually it's just boot to the cd
or insert the cd and it should run automatically.

Please post back with more details, what does the cd look
like and what does it say on the label?
