Need to find a poll on deciding factors in buying a new car

Evening all! I have to do a technical report for uni on Hybrid cars and why they have been slow to catch on. I got plenty of reasons, and some solutions but I need to prove all of it.

If anyone knows of on-line poll results for deciding factors in buying a new car, especially in regard to noise, maintenance, miles-per-gallon and cost, I would be VERY grateful.

Have you tried the BBC's Top Gear site? I'm not sure they have what you want but it may be worth a look.
