Hi,

I am looking for a freeware editor to do simple editing of my DVD files.
Essentially I need to snip off certain sections of the DVD (typically fuzz
or bad sections) and then reburn to a new DVD.

What is available?

TIA

PgcEdit

PgcEdit is a DVD IFO editor designed to allow the modification
of the navigation commands and parameters of an already
authored DVD structure. It is designed to supplement IfoEdit.

You can find more tools listed here
http://www.videohelp.com/
http://www.doom9.org/
http://cdfreaks.com/
http://www.cdr-zone.com/
And they all have also good forums

Do you mean video DVD's? Like ones you could play in a standalone DVD
player? Or are your DVD files only?

Assuming it's the former, I'd recommend going to www.videohelp.com and
see what freeware tools are recommended.

Two I can think of right now are DVD Decrypter & DVD Shrink, which will
allow you to rip your DVD's to your hard disk for more manipulation or
conversion, editing, etc.
