Need to delete so leftover icons

I have 2 icons I need to delete.

One is on the desktop and I can not read properties to see what it is.

Second is in the explorer, it closes explorer when I try to view it's
properties.

Unfortunately it did not work.

Is there a way to get Explorer to not search compressed files in doing
a file search?
