I was ready to use a program I just finished, but when I gave it the final
test I found that somehow I locked my query fields so that they can't accept
data through my forms. I used the same queries in my older versions and they
were ok, but my recent finished ones just give me a beep when I try to enter
data in the form, or even when I try to change the data directly in the query
fields.

My forms are not locked in properties.

I use Access 2000.

Please help, as I am ready to panic!

Are you sure your queries are updatable? If not, you wont be able to update
data via your forms.

You may have something- as when I was testing things I managed to get this
statement somewhere: "This recordset is not updatable".

How do I make my queries updatable?

I copied a query from an earlier version of the program (that was updatable)
into my finished version and it automatically became nonupdatable in the
finished version, without doing anything...

Is there an easy fix?

Thanks!
