Need some advice on using Remote Desktop

I use one Windows XP Pro system in my office and two other identical systems
in another part of the building, all running on a LAN.

I frequently access these remote systems using Remote Desktop and everything
works just fine. However, if I go back and want to use one of these remote
computers, I must log-in to the system using my user password. This is no
big problem but I don't recall this happening before installing SP2 - maybe
I'm mistaken.

All 3 of my Windows XP Pro LAN systems are configured to boot up without the
need for users to log-in.

Hello,

as far as i know it is for security reasons - and it was also before SP2;
for me it was so.

Think of that - your are working remotly with your account on a remote PC -
everyone infront of the (for you) remote pc could see everything - perhaps
close the remote connection with you infront of your pc from who you are have
setup the remote session and work with your account and your rights at the
(for you) remote pc...

horrible - to me

kind regards

Dirk

Thanks Dirk
