Let me explain. The best way to teach yourself programming is by doing it.
To do it, you create small projects, build them, and build larger projects
until you've mastered the technology. Hence, "Hello World" as the first
project. Basic IO. If you want to learn programming, problem-solving is the
key. So, here's a problem: You need to learn to program. Create a project
that will use the basic skills you need to learn first. If you can solve
that problem, you can become a programmer.
