Need Photo editor.

Hi guys. I used to use Ifranview a few years ago and now need it again.
However, it seems the new version is only a reader........True? Any
alternatives? All I need is a simple program to enhance, rotate, crop, and
compress to .jpg for posting. Any ideas?

IrfanView still does all that.

You could give Photo Filtre a try.

Thanks to all! I finally figured out that the new Ifranview does averything
(and more) than my old copy. And thanks to 6 million $ man. Phot filtre
looks good when I have time to learn to use it!

One last request, please. I ordered a new dvd burner from newwegg.
Apparently it's an oem NEC with no software. Is there something I can use to
burn dvd's?? I have Nero Express on another Cd burner..............I also
have power DVD on another machine, but don't know if I can transport it to
my new one.

I remember reading in a recent issue of PC Utilities that OEM copies of
Nero Express are apparently configured to work only with the hardware it
came with. I have never used Nero Express, so I don't know how true this
is.

Several people in this group have praised Deep Burner for both CD and
DVD burning. http://www.deepburner.com/?r=products . There is both a
freeware and a shareware version of this program.

I myself don't do a lot of CD/DVD burning, so it is possible that others
here may have more information or better suggestions. I instead prefer
to use my USB thumbnail flash drives to transport files and documents.
For my backups I rely upon my Maxtor One-Touch External Hard Drive that
came with a free OEM copy of Retrospect Backup. My music is all stored
on my iPod.
