Need Hit Counter tracking help!

We are "testing the waters" in advertising on someone
else's website. We want to be able to track how many hits
came through the link on our ad. We can't use FrontPage
because we've been forced to change servers. Where can I
get a hit counter that will do this for free. Help!

Jen,

If you want to view traffic from another website you will
need a web report that offers referring url tracking.

Most web hosting companies offer web reports via Urchin,
Web Trends, etc...

Check with your host first, if they do not offer this,
there are free reports available via the web, but they
will require you insert scripting into the pages.
