Need help!!!!

I have a windows live e-mail account which is great and no problem with it
but I also have an the regular windows that automaticly runs up on my
SNAPFIRE PLUS (a photo program) and everytime i want to send a picture by
e-mail from that program it does it threw the old windows and I cant send
nothing because this come up:
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'pop.gmail.com', Server:
'pop.gmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error:
10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
And to all the good people who are want to help: Please explain in an Idiots
terms because my English and knoledge in computers islike a 2 year old...

I don't know if you've used Gmail's instructions for setting up to use their
email servers:

They don't seem to have written instructions for Windows Mail yet, so use
their instructions for Outlook Express but under Windows Mail. I wouldn't
recommend the auto-configuration tool - it may depend too much on
using Outlook Express.
 
Gmail does not recommend using port 110.
Be sure to use the settings referenced in Robert's response.
