| hello i need help with two things .first my disk clean up wont work i get
it on i get three green dots and thats it nothing my mouse still moves but
the disk clean up dosn't i have left it on for well over an hour but nothing
happens.second my headphones wont work i have try different headphones but
none work the speakers are ok the sound comes out of them hope you can help
am running out of hair

On the headphones, I'd guess you're plugging them into the wrong jack. If
the speakers work, your sound device is obviously functioning.
Generally soundcards have only one "out" jack. The other two are for
"microphone" and "line in." (i.e... inputs) The jack on the front of your CD
drive (if any) does not output the same signal that is going to your
speakers.
Some computers provide a separate jack that is specifically for headphones.
Many do not. If yours does not your options are to unplug the speakers and
plug the headphones in where they were, or employ a splitter or a switch
that will allow you to have both plugged in at the same time.
