Need Help With Send To --> Mail Recipient

I need some help with the Send To --> Mail Recipient function. It is my
understanding that when you select this option it is supposed to open your
default e-mail program. My default is Outlook Express but every time I use
this function it opens Lotus Notes client. This started when I upgraded to
version 6.5.1 of Notes. I have run a full virus scan on my system and it is
clean.

Also, the mail to function within Internet Explorer works fine.

I have checked my OE options and it shows OE as the default mail handler. I
have checked my internet options and they are set to OE. I have checked the
file type associations and they are set to OE.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was able to fix the problem with the following instruction:


Click Start | Set Program Access and Defaults... expand the Custom list and
select Outlook Express as your email program.
