I Just bought a headset with a USB hook up, and the IDT Audio is not
recongizing it; I would like to set the equalizer in the IDT for my new
headset. Is there another IDT Audio download that can recongize USB devices?

Try a diffrent USB terminal,if it still isnt recognized, open "new hardware
wizard"
& locate youre set manually.

The USB audio involves a separate chip in the headphones. It
is handled separately, and the IDT software won't be adding
features to a competitor's product.

If you'd purchased analog headphones, and plugged them into an
IDT controlled jack, then you'd still be getting the benefit
of the IDT software graphic equalizer.

It is probably possible to find a Windows software product
for sale, which equalizes all audio output. But then, if
you were using your IDT chip for output, there would be
effectively two equalizers in a row. The consequence of
that, is it would be using more CPU cycles than absolutely
necessary.

Try to find a product with a trial period, so you can
verify that the standalone software graphic equalizer works
properly, before you pay good money for it.
