While you're waiting for someone with specific knowledge of your
particular error to respond, here are a few suggestions:
Check out
http://www.aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm and
http://www.eventid.net/
You didn't list the stop code, but from the first minidump, it appears
to have been 0x10000050. The accompanying text might be helpful,
because in a brief Google search, I didn't see much helpful on this stop
code.
I did see some suggestion that this error might be caused by bad RAM,
although that usually results in random BSODs, rather than being
associated with starting a particular application. Still, it wouldn't
hurt to download and run memtest86+
http://www.memtest.org/
Another hit suggested that it might be a rootkit. Again, your symptoms
didn't exactly fit, but it wouldn't hurt to run either or both of
http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/RootkitRevealer.html
https://europe.f-secure.com/blacklight/
As I wrote before, because your problem seems to be associated with
WordPerfect, you're more likely to get a useful response from a
WP-specific newsgroup than from a Microsoft newsgroup.
