I moved a bunch of tables, queries, modules, etc. from one database to
another with no problem, but when I wnet to run the application I had a
problem with a portion that does an export, this failed. When I checked, I
realized I did not have the export template in the new database. How do you
transfer / copy / import/export the needed template to the new database from
old. Is there a way to see these and any other hidden files like schema.ini
files and such. I tried to also build a new one looking like old one in new
database, but get a message about not matching the format in the Schema.ini
file. I do not see it in the list of objects that can be transfered such as
tables, forms, queries etc... Need help please!!!!!!

Hi Kenny,

From the 'blank' database, you do File...Get External Data...Import. Then,
locate the 'old' database and hit 'Import.' Make sure to click on Options>>
and then select the check box next to Import/Export Specs

Hi Ed,
Thanks for replying. The export template is used with a query not a
direct table. Couple of other question relating to this issue. Is there a way
to know if there are Import/Export templates in an application before you
move data to another database? Also, I went in and just created the template
manually in the new database. Now When I run the processes, I get an error
saying "The data being exported does not match the format described in the
Schema.ini file". What does htis mean and how do I fix it?????
