Need Help Please : Microsoft WORD " not responding"

I open my OE mail, then open the Word attachment, so far fine.

Then I try to copy the text of the word doc onto another email from OE
that I am about to send....
that's when 2 things happen:

1. my OE FREEZES
2. and it say
Microsoft WORD " not responding"

So I cannot cut and paste the Word doc. The Word doc is only 4 pages
long.

I checked my PC
I have 192 RAM
75% free

I have a Win Me and 20GB and 733 Mhz Intel CPU.

Why is this happening ?

Can anyone pls. help me.

I am NOT TECHNICAL.
