hi my name is Marcelo, and i write to you because i ´m in
desperate need of help.
I bought an ASUS P4P800 Deluxe with an INTEL P4 3.0 /800
with 2 Kingston DDR 3200 of 1gb, and when i finish
installing WinXp SP1 professional, i start to do all the
updates from microsoft, the system makes folders like
this "0ecbb8cbe9b8100c88108ec0316305" in the C: root
instead of the WUTEMP folder. And even when i restart my
comp, the files still in there, having to delete them
manually.
Is it something to do with windows?

Hey Marcelo,

Wow...nice machine. Anyways, this is normal. Windows
does that will all ofi ts service packs/updates for a
temporary place to extract the files. Yeah sometimes you
have to delete them because A. The install didn't finish
or B. It's just some kinda...fluke or something. WUTEMP
is not where it usually puts those folders anyway (the
names of those folders are completely random). If you
have any more questions let me know.
