Hi,

My harddrive went bad and I can't bootup with it. I install a new XP o
a new harddrive with office xp. How can I copy my mail from my M
outlook 2000 to my offic xp outlook? Is it easy as copy all the file
in the folder and paste them in the new folder.

Where are the inbox mail files?
What are their names?

Please help,

THanks,

Comic Rag

All of the Inbox, Calendar, Contacts and other folders in Outlook are
stored in a Personal Folder File (.pst). Do a search on the old harddrive
for *.pst and copy any files that are found and then Import them into the
new Outlook. Here is a link to an article that explains the steps to do an
Import and provides some other useful information,
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;287070. Here is
also another link to an article that might be helpful to you,
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;287456.

I hope this information is helpful.
