I administer a network of about 250 users.
It is a network with 2 win 2k servers and 4 nt 4 servers... 85% of the
users use XP, the rest are combos of 98 and 2000...

Occationally I find that my network gets really slow when users do
high bandwdith activities (I work for a school, kids love online
games).

Is there a DOS command or a free program out there that would allow me
to see who, at any given time, is hogging my bandwidth?
thanks in advance all!

You may be able to see the traffic from specfic IP
addresses from your firewall but there is not a command
that I know of that will let you see the traffic over your
entire network. You may also want to download a sniffer
with a free trial I belive etherpeek has a 3 day trial.

As you own server versions, if you are not on a
switched network you could just run a NetMon
capture for a while and would only need to look
at the per-IPs packet counts in the capture summary.
