I'm having trouble copying photos from a CD to the HD
using Windows Explorer. I burned this CD from my digital
camera along with several other CD's and this is the only
one I'm having trouble with. It's a backup CD which I
want to reinstall on the HD. All the photos are in JPEG
format. They won't open, either. I've tried opening them
and resaving them, and even tried using a backup to the
HD. Nothing works.
"Cannot read from a file "F:\P2270006.JPG". Data error
(cyclic redundancy check). [80070017]"
is the typical message I get. What's a cyclic redundancy
check? There's nothing in Windows Help about this. (Not
surprising).
Anyone have any ideas?
