My outlook express on my laptop is showing incoming
messages but when I try to open it they say not enough
memory. Then when I try to delete any of the messages,
nothing happens, it won't delete anything, send
anything. Doesn't ask for my password when starting.

Also noticed that when I went into my search for files,
that wasn't working.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

I suppose that your PST file has got corrupt and so I would advice you to
try creating a new PST or rather a new profile and seeifthe behaviour
happens there also. This would narrow down the issue.

The post was about Outlook Express, which does not use PST files.
This is a group to support Outlook from the Office group of programs.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and is a quite different
program despite its similar name..

You will probably get a faster and more expert answer if you post this to an
outlook express news group.

Try posting in one of these newsgroups:
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie5.outlookexpress for OE 5.x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie55.outlookexpress for OE 5.5x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress for OE 6.x

A good website for information on OE is:
http://www.tomsterdam.com/

Bzzt. Thanks for playing, but you lose. READ what the OP says:
My outlook express on my laptop is showing incoming
messages

Outlook Express doesn't HAVE PSTs. The OP should ask her question in an
Outlook Express newsgroup.
