My hubby was cleaning up the hard drive for more space
and he thinks he has deleted a program that runs our
childrens disc games. My pc has xp...The error is comin up
as..C:\Windows\system 32\Auto Exec.NT. The system file is
not suitable for running MS-Dos and Microsoft
applications.Choose close to terminate the
application...Is there another program to download to
play these games..The kids were playing them all last
week but since hubby has been fiddling they can't
anymore..The games are suitable from windows 95 or 98
onwards...I have no idea where to begin to download
programs to many to look at..Please help this desperate

best bet is to run system recovery which is under
accessoires then system tools and restore the pc to a
early time that should bring the program back if not you
should look on the internet for a program which can
restore files which have been deleted

Where did you get the games in the first place? If you still have the
installation disks, simply reinstall the games.

The autoexec.nt file is a configuration file for setting system parameters
to operate older software. If this file has been corrupted, there should be
a backup copy in the C:\Windows\Repair folder. Try moving that copy to the
C:\Windows\System32 folder and let it replace the file there.
