Need Graphics Accelerator

I just installed Windows XP Pro over my old 98SE, it went without any problems. However, now my son cant play his games on it, it says there is no graphics accelerator. I used my computer to download Directx9 and tried to install it on his computer but it required an internet connection which he dosnt have and is not going to have. Any ideas how I can fix this problem?
 
If he dosnt have directx9 on cpu and has games that require it try checking the CD with the games that require it, they usually have directx update neded for game on cd's. Or connext your internet to his cpu download it then switch back
 
There are two versions of directx for download. Choose the other one to that
which you did. It is for networks and will download the whole file to your
pc which you can then transfer.
 
Download the DirectX9 redistributable for use on your sons machine. It has
all the necessary files.
