Need a new CD for Win XP Pro

I need to know where or who to get in touch with to get a
new XP CD. The copy that came with my laptop has gone
missing and I need a replacement. I have looked all over
Microsoft site and can't figure out how or who to
contact. If you can help, I would appreciate it. Thanks...
 
Well I think you have 2 options. Either contact the maker of the laptop and
see if they will give/sell you another one or go to a store and buy one. MS
will not replace a OEM CD and if the CD is not defective and you some how
LOST it don't look for to much help.

Hay I lost my car, "Dealer" well come on down and we'll SELL you another.

Yup OK but "I lost the keys to my car and I need to drive some where"
"Dealer" Come on down we'll SELL you a new set of keys and it will take 2-3
weeks.

Now if you had the CD and it was damaged/defective from the start. Then the
maker would/should replace it.
