navigation pane operation

i use outlook 2003. i used to be able to click on the icons or folders for
calendar, contacts, tasks, etc. now they only work if i right click and open
them in a new window. I would like to change this back to the original left
mouse operation but have been unable to find the solution. hope someone can
help. thank you. Skwurill
 
Try opening Outlook one time with the /resetnavpane switch.

start->run->outlook.exe /resetnavpane

After furious head scratching, skwurill asked:

i've re-booted hundreds of times and also done the scanpst.exe but the
problem persists. thanks for any further help or suggestions you may have.
