Navigation Pane links - how to get rid of them?

On the left side, under mini-calendar there's useless (for me) window with
list of links like "How to share calendar", "Search calendars online",
"Publish my calendar..." etc.
Understood name of this window is "Navigation pane links"

Could I get rid of this window at all?
It just eats space on screen, I'd prefer to have 2-months calendar instead
of it (on 12" notebook resolution isn't enough to fit both).
